Rochester Arts Alliance is partnering with Rochester Area Foundation, a Minnesota nonprofit corporation tax exempt under IRC Section 501(c)(3), for the 2026 Art in Motion event. Tax-deductible gifts or partially tax-deductible sponsorships and ticket purchases will be receipted accordingly.

WHEN?
Art in Motion Dance Gala is an inaugural fundraising event that pairs eight community dance couples with professional dance instructors, local poets, and visual artists to create a truly immersive artistic experience. Throughout eight weeks of preparation, each team embarks on a creative journey that culminates in an inspiring evening of live performance while raising support for the Rochester Arts Alliance and its mission to strengthen, sustain, and elevate arts and cultural opportunities throughout our community.

Guests become part of that journey by supporting their favorite dance team through audience voting and bidding on original artwork created specifically for the event.
